In the article 11 of Afghanistan Trademark Registration Law has been regulated all changes which can be take place in a registered trademark as follows:

“Where changes are made to a registered trademark, or to the goods, products or services for which the trademark has been registered, such changes shall be registered separately in the Central Registration Office, otherwise they shall not be valid.”

The requirement for the above changes is a power of attorney duly legalized up to the Afghanistan Consulate, document showing the change of name and address issued by the local competent authority and the scan copy of the original registration certificate or last renewal certificate of the trademark for endorsement of the concerned recordal.
