License
Your Guide to Protecting Your Ideas and Brands
License
A Trademark license, which is different from the assignment, is an agreement in which a trademark owner (the “licensor”) permits someone else (“the “licensee”) to use the licensor’s trademark in connection with specific products or services. The unlicensed use of a registered trademark is illegal and punishable under article 27 of the law.
The requirement for a license is a power of Attorney duly legalized up to the Afghanistan Consulate, a document showing the license agreement issued by the competent local authority, and the scan copy registration certificate or last renewal certificate of the trademark.
